Ive been following the VIX for a while now, waiting for the pop... Expect a ton a volatility when it moves above 35..

SRS is still holding on... I see much more upside than down side.. if price falls under $20, consider it a huge buying opportunity..

BIDU is nearing the end of the move from $100... better to think of shorting this now..

GS is right at the trend line...assume its a short until the market says otherwise..

Even though I have been making a case for a VIX that is falling back to complacent levels, and a healthy pullback is around the corner, the commodities are moving higher...a falling dollar helps this cause too...

Daily vs Weekly Charting...

I was taking a look at Ford's stock and wanted to show the difference between daily and weekly charting...

You can see the daily chart gives very few clues on when to take profits..



The weekly chart gives clear signals when to take profits...



the 200 weekly moving average is a perfect selling point, along with the trendline of the MACD Histogram..

PS- short term traders in ENER have to love the action this morning.. someone asked me when they should buy back in.. I mentioned there were 2 gaps, one at 17 and one at 16.. Well, ENER, on no news this morning, has filled the gap at $16, and is now trading around $16.90 and looking for more..
